European poker games:: Texas Hold'em
Texas Hold'em is a fast and fun variation of Seven Card Stud that is our most popular EURO online casino poker game and the poker game of choice for all Poker Tournament Championship Events. Initially, two cards (hole cards) are dealt face down to each online poker player, and then there is a betting round. Three cards, customarily called the flop, are then dealt face up in the center of the table. Those three community cards are part of each poker player's hand. Another betting round occurs. Another card, called the turn, is dealt in the center, followed by another betting round. Then a final card, called the river, is dealt in the center, followed by a final betting round. The hole cards of bet and called hands are turned over and a winner is determined by the highest five-card hand.
european poker games : : Omaha Poker
Omaha is an action variation of Texas Hold'em in European poker game, dealt the same way, except online poker players’ start with four cards face down instead of two. Two down cards out of the hand must be used along with three on the board to make your best five-card hand. Because there are six two-card combinations in each individual player's hand rather than two, there are many more drawing opportunities per player than in Texas Hold'em—creating a fast-paced, exciting online poker game.
European poker games:: Omaha (8 or Better) poker
Omaha (8 or Better) is dealt in the same manner as Omaha, but th/e "best" (highest) and "worst" (lowest) hands split the pot. Aces count for low in low and either high or low in high. An A-2-3-4-5 is the best hand for low and also makes a straight. To win low, your hand must be an 8 low or lower. Since different two-card combination can be used from your hand for high and for low and the same player may win both high and low in the same hand, this online poker game provides even more drawing opportunities per player than the high version of Omaha. These online poker games can get very fast and furious.
European poker games : : Seven Card Stud poker
Seven Card Stud is probably the easiest to learn and the most well known of all poker games. Each online poker player is dealt seven cards unique to the player, starting with two cards (hole cards) face down and one card face up. Three more cards are dealt to each online poker player face up, with betting rounds in between. Then a final card is dealt face down, followed by a final betting round. The best five-card hand wins the online poker game and the money.
European poker games: : Seven Card Stud (8 or Better) poker
Seven Card Stud (8 or Better) is a fast-action online poker game in which the "best" (highest) and "worst" (lowest) hands split the pot. Straights and flushes have no ranking in the low hand, although you can win both high and low if your hand can qualify for both. An A-2-3-4-5 is the best hand for low and also makes a straight. You can use one set of five cards for high and a different set of five cards for low and win both halves of the pot if holding the best high and low hands. To win low, your online poker hand must be an 8 low or lower. Seven Card Stud (8 or Better) offers the player multiple ways to draw in every hand and the online poker games can get fast and loose.
European poker games : : Draw poker
Draw poker is the old-time traditional poker game in which five cards are dealt face down to each player, a betting round occurs, and each player is afforded an opportunity to replace any or all of the five cards (or none!), after which there is a second round of betting. At the showdown, the highest five-card hand wins the online poker game and takes down the money.
European poker games : : Badugi poker
Badugi poker is a relatively new poker game where the lowest hand wins in poker tournaments. The best hand is called a Badugi where all four cards are unsuited and non-paired. The game begins with the deal where four cards are dealt face down to each participating player followed by a betting round. On completion of the bet round, each player is afforded an opportunity to exchange zero to four of the cards originally dealt, after which there is another round of betting. The process is repeated two more times for a total of four bet rounds and three card exchanges. At the showdown, the lowest hand wins and takes down the money.

European poker players: : Jamie Gold- Professional poker player
Jamie Gold, a professional poker player who hails from Malibu, California, is one of the biggest stars in the world of poker. His winnings after his WSOP championship - in which he took the pot in the 2006 Poker tournament - totaled over twelve million, bringing him national acclaim as the biggest winner in poker history. He is famous for his cool attitude toward betting loads of money, with this aggressive playing style being counteracted by a calm countenance. While most players play the game with a constant face of steel, Jamie Gold is alive and active, calm and composed during the entirety of the game.
After his first big win, Gold ended his contract with the company Bodog.com (which originally brought him into the rankings for the World Series tournament), and became the head of an entertainment company called Buzznation. In the later months of 2006 he began work on a brand-name reality show, due to hit the screens in about a year’s time. Through his charismatic, calm, composed attitude and a willingness to bet big, Jamie Gold was able to become the biggest winner in WSOP history. He reached the top of the heap in one week-long leap, utterly destroying his competition and winning the game with a masterful bluff. He claims that he has a deep love for poker and will continue playing...perhaps catapulting him even higher into the stratosphere of professional poker.
European poker players: : Joseph Hachem
Joseph Hachem defeated 5618 players,, including the second place finisher Steve Dannenmann, to win the main event at the 2005 World Series of Poker. His victory earned him a record breaking $7.5 million dollars.
Joe Hachem who now lives with his family in Melbourne, Australia originated from The Lebanon. There was a big question of tax payable when Joe won the WSOP main event and a prize pool of $7,500,000 the question was, whether he was in fact a professional poker games player, as it was mentioned in some press that he was a Chiropractor by trade, but due to ill health had given that up and taken up poker, while deciding what else he might do as a career. He mainly played poker on internet and did occasionally go to The Crown Casino in Melbourne, but whether it was decided he was officially a professional poker player and taxed accordingly remains unknown. Poker Pages were very honored to be invited to report from inside the closed doors of the final table at downtown Binions Horseshoe, and it was amazing to see how many fellow Australians were there to see Joe Hachem become the 2005 WSOP Champion. Our very own Chris Newton from Australia who is a good friend of Chris's was reporting for Poker Pages so you can just imagine his delight when his good friend won. Chris told us that Joe was a true family man and that this win would be used to benefit his family first and foremost.
